Three basic logical relationships between different mechanisms for multi-polymerization judged by the extent of mutual interactions: orthogonal, hybrid, and sequential.
In this work, the effects of chlorination in double cable conjugated polymers on the photovoltaic performance of SCOSCs were studied. The chlorination lowers the highest occupied molecular orbital level of the conjugated polymers, thus resulting in a higher open-circuit voltage and improved photovoltaic performance.
In this work, a novel solid additive BBT-Cl was introduced into organic solar cells (OSCs) based on PM6:Y6. By combining BBT-Cl with traditional solvent additive 1-chloronaphthalene (CN), the OSCs processed by the dual additives exhibit an excellent power conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability, which indicating the potential of solid additive in achieving high-performance OSCs.
A stable molybdenum oxide (MoOx) hole transport layer with low cost was prepared by adjusting the state of the precursor solution with an alcoholic solution of molybdenum acetylacetonate through an oxidant. MoOx HTL exhibits good applicability while showing excellent performance in both ternary and all-polymer systems.
This study reports a novel amphiphilic polymer liquid crystal composite films with good programmed shape deformation behavior and humidity-responsive self-healing properties by simple mixing amphiphilic polymers and liquid crystal azobenzene compounds in solution.
By first wetting-modifying the polyethylene terephthalate microfibers and then laminating a polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene nanofiber layer, a fibrous separator (GOPPH) with high porosity and hierarchical structure was created. Two theoretical modes were shown to exhibit its desired lithium ion transport properties, including the ability to move more ions more quickly.
Compared with the dibenzhydryl Ni(II) and Pd(II) catalysts, the catalysts using "sandwich" and rotation-restricted strategies exhibited an outstanding ability to suppress the chain transfer reactions and generated polymers and copolymers with 1-2 orders of magnitude higher molecular weights
In this study, we found that either the linear viscoelasticity or the non-linear damping behavior of PP alloys was controlled by two relaxation processes, i.e., the fast relaxation process of PP chains and the slow relaxation process of the EPR/PE-rich domains.
Mechanically robust metallosupramolecular hydrogels with unprecedented self-recoverability are crosslinked via asymmetrically distributed coordination interactions and minimal chemical crosslinkers. The hydrogels possess excellent mechanical properties and stretch rate- and temperature-dependent mechanical behavior as well as unprecedented self-recovery performance ever recorded for metallosupramolecular hydrogels.
Polyurethane-polysiloxane copolymer with high content of polysiloxane segment (PU-co-HPSi) shows good compatibilization effect on SiR/TPU blends, and the PU-co-HPSi compatibilized SiR/TPU TPV with comfortable human touch, a fine SiR dispersed phase and good mechanical performance was prepared, facilitating its application in wearable intelligent devices.
A series of brominated polynorbornene derivatives containing large steric hydrophobic groups in the main chain were synthesized by ROMP and post-functionalization by Menshutkin. The large steric hydrophobic groups can balance the high hydroxide conductivity and low swelling ratio in AEMs. The gradient structure of the main chain gives remarkable phase separation. When IEC closes to 2.0 meq/g, PBO-x%-y (x=66, 68, 70; y=QA, Im, Pyr, Pip) AEMs exhibit high hydroxide conductivity.
A facile and effective strategy to afford low Dk/Df MPIs with less fluoric groups and nonporous structure, through incorporating rigid and large sterically hindered spirobifluorene groups into the main chain.
The TBP-BIIR coating exhibits a protection efficiency of up to 94% respectively in a strong acid (HNO3, pH=2), strong base (NaOH, pH=12), and salt solution (3.5 wt% NaCl), and it could maintain its self-healing and corrosion resistance performance in the strong corrosion environment.
A functional carbon nanosphere coating with high activity was constructed on the surface of PBO fibers by treatment with an environmentally friendly and industrially scalable waterborne sizing agent. The sized PBO fibers not only show significantly improved interfacial properties, but also retain the excellent mechanical properties.
Compared with the traditional MIL, DIL could play a role as physical cross-links among PMMA chains by hydrogen bonding between PMMA and imidazolium rings. The additional physical network tends to form at high DIL content, due to the probability of physical cross-links formation increases with increasing DIL concentration.
